We received the following report from a retired realtor:

"I used to sell real estate in Toronto and as you can imagine, I have seen a lot of houses and several 'odd' things.

I had just listed on Castleton Ave in the old City of York.  A middle aged couple lived in the house and seemed anxious to move.  I showed the house to a prospective couple who lived in a nearby apartment complex and they bought the place.  The closing date was only two weeks, a very short time and eveyone seemed happy.  I was talking to the couple who were moving out of the house and they told me that the house was haunted and that they had seen her.  Evidently they were watching TV one evening and a woman wearing a 1920/1930's style blue dress walked from the kitchen, across the living room, between them and the TV and through a wall.  Upon investigation, many years ago there had been a doorway where the wall was now.  This phenomenon happened several times and were seen by both husband and wife.

Flash forward six months.  I was grocery shopping in the area and ran into the new owners who had purchased the house.  I asked them how they were doing and how they liked the house.  Both seemed angry at me and the husband got very agitated and said, "That house is haunted, my wife saw a woman walking across the living room and through the wall.   My wife left the house and would not return so I had to sell it two months after we had moved in!"

Our thanks to the realtor who sent in the above information. Can you add further insight into the above report? Have you experienced something similar?
