Since I was small I've always "seen" 'people' in my bedroom at night, or "heard" things, such as people's voices in a room, only to go investigate and find nothing there, and feel completely confused since I knew I heard voices. My parents used to always try to reassure me that it was nothing to be afraid of, that it was probably my "imagination". I knew they meant well, but I knew that what I was seeing was not my imagination, I eventually gave up trying to convince them, and simply stopped talking about whatever it was I saw or experienced, and just kept it to myself, and began at a very early age reading whatever I could about "ghosts", "hauntings" etc. |

The City of Cambridge, Ontario is rich with history, many stories of ghosts, and other strange occurrences. Cambridge has managed to preserve many of it’s historical buildings and properties, some dating as far back as the early 1800’s, each with a unique history of it’s own. Whether based on fact or fiction, Cambridge has built up a reputation and hence its nickname: "The City of Ghosts". One of the more famous buildings to have reported sightings is Galt Collegiate Institute (G.C.I.), a secondary school with the distinction of being the oldest continuously operating school in Ontario. |
