“Although this new site is being officially launched in October, and our anniversary is also in October, we are still around all year writing, investigating, and researching reports of ghostly phenomena.” Matthew said.
Sue added, “And through our parent cross-Canada group, Paranormal Studies and Investigations Canada (PSICAN), we’re cultivating many good relationships with people across Canada to better understand the phenomena from many different points of views.”
The new Torontoghosts.org’s and its sister site, Ontartioghosts.org’s new look and feel have been beta testing for the last month to rave reviews from the steady stream of between 2,000 and 10,000 visitors per day. Although the new look and feel doesn’t belie the one thing that’s very true about Didier and St Clair's work…
“It’s difficult to realise that we may never have answers to some of the mysteries we’re looking into, but after surviving over a decade, the hope is there that when we’re done, other’s will take up the mantel… and perhaps find that evidence, that proof, that answer… or even just find better questions to these very complex and odd questions that have been raised by this phenomena.” stated Matthew.
About The Ghosts and Hauntings Research Society: The Ghosts and Hauntings Research Society was founded in October of 1997 and is a not-for-profit group examining the myths, legends, folklore, and science behind reports of the paranormal specific to ghosts and hauntings. They are a sub-group of Paranormal Studies and Investigations Canada (PSICAN) and work to maintain an “agnostic” or neutral view of the phenomenal.
