- Sorry that this is not much of an update, but our normal updates are waiting until the end of March... this is to allow for a few projects to complete as well as a few permissions we need to come in before publishing some things. We are VERY hard at work, answering e-mails and looking into "things ghostly"... but our website updates are delayed for one month... so don't be afraid to write to us as we are, indeed, still here! Thanks for your patience...

- Happy December, everyone! As this is the Holiday season, we are indeed taking a holiday until late January when we will be back with new updates as well as our examination for new volunteers with our organisation. We here at Torontoghosts, Ontarioghosts, PSICAN, ParaResearchers... and all our sites wish you and yours the best of the holiday season and the happiest of New Years! We'll see you in 2008!
- ...OF COURSE, there are CONSTANT updates on The Paranormal Blog and always new things on our message board... and even check out Matthew Didier's personal blog where occasionally he kibittizes on things "paranormal"!

- Sadly, despite my plea of last month, not one soul sent in a link or information to a Halloween "do" to us... sorry we can't be of help to those looking for something to do this season. Most "Halloween Ghost Walks" book up early, but you can still contact them to see what's happening and if there are any special events that have spaces available... Try Muddy York Tours in Toronto, Ghost Tours of Niagara in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Haunted Walks of Canada in Ottawa and Kingston, and our friends at Haunted Hamilton as well. Torontoghosts and Ontarioghosts does not offer "ghost tours" or "walks" and this year we are not doing any special events for the public on or around Halloween... although we WILL be doing something small in late November for those interested. Check back then...
- VERY Special Thanks go out this month to Chris for fielding and dealing with the usual insane amount of media requests with professionalism and courtesy, Penny, Nancy and Lynn for doing some awesome work on the fly, Lisa for really taking control of The Sault area, and Sue for all her hard work towards the site while the director has been banging his head against a few issues away from the paranormal! Of course, thanks to ALL our folks for "chipping in" during this insanely busy period for us... and a VERY special "Thanks" to the witnesses for coming forward and adding to our knowledge... without you, we wouldn't exist.
- It has come to our attention that there are some "ghost hunters" in the field representing themselves as something they are not... including working within or helping our group(s) - be that Torontoghosts, Ontarioghosts, The GHRS, ParaResearchers, or PSICAN. If in doubt, check the "About Us" page which lists the folks we are working with and who work for us. Also, if someone says they have a degree or accreditation from a particular school or educational body, DO call or e-mail the proper folks to ensure that this is the case. See The Paranormal Blog's Entry for Sunday, October 28th for a situation that recently arose where one of our volunteers did call about a "ghost hunter" who claimed to have a degree from a local university.

What was new with the TGHRS? June 25th, 2007
- PLEASE NOTE: There will be no updates on the website between now and mid-September. This is partially for a "Summer (working) Vacation" and mostly to allow certain ongoing projects to be tweaked and completed. We promise that by mid-September, there will be new material on this site... and we thank you for your visit.
- On a related note, we will be doing constant updates to our Paranormal Blog during this time and invite you to have a look when you can.
- Also, on a personal note, I occasionally add "paranormal" topics to my personal blog... you can look in on those too.
- During this time, we will still be answering e-mails and reading everything that you send to us and responding as quickly as possible.

- The Newsletter is being delayed by one week... it will be available on Sunday, April 15th, 2007 after 6pm EDT. If you do not know how to get our newsletter, please click here and read through the information on that page. IT'S FREE!
- Believe it or not, by popular demand, Torontoghosts, Ontarioghosts, and PSICAN "swag" (merchandise) is now available at our Cafe Press store. Matthew made some good designs and some interesting things. ALL profits from these articles go towards are servers and also our equipment.
- Also in the believe it or not category, we have posted an imcomplete media appearances list... We really don't have any plans at current to make this more complete... but we may update it in the future if requested...
- We would like to thank EVERY ONE OF OUR READERS as Torontoghosts is one of the TOP 700,000 websites IN THE WORLD (meaning we're in the TOP six per-cent of ALL websites EVERYWHERE!) and climbing according to The Alexa Rankings... and the NUMBER ONE website for ghosts and hauntings in Canada! THANK YOU ALL!!!
- If you haven't yet, you may be interested in visiting Sue and Matthew's (co-directors of this site and PSICAN) Paranormal Blog. Click here to visit it...
- Another reason for the delay is we are currently going through our pages and deleting dead links and "dead ends"... This is part of our "Spring Cleaning" here to gear up for what looks like a VERY busy Summertime of paranormal investigations!
- We would like to extend our honest and sincere congratulations to our friends at Skeptics Canada for the opening of their new offices. We remind readers here that Skeptics Canada is made up of real sceptics for the most part... meaning they do work and investigate... and the money(s) they receive STAY within Canada for work in Canada... and as they are not "deniers", but "doubters", we appreciate and support them and their continued success!

- Quick Note:: Sorry the updates this month are so lean, but your humble webmaster, page-coder, founder, and director of this site has been spending most of the month fighting two variations of a flu bug. I promise to have a much better showing for March. (Hapily, though I've been "shut down" most of the month, the team has not so there are updates coming!)
