The Toronto and Ontario Ghosts and Hauntings Research Society
The organization (started in October 1997 and officially formed in October 1998) is dedicated to collecting, compiling and researching reportedly true cases of hauntings and ghosts in the city of Toronto and across Ontario.
We are a registered non-profit Ontario company working towards registered charity status and will respect any individual's right to privacy.
We are a part-time "labour of love" and completely non-profit. All of our "staff" are part-time so please forgive delays in responding to requests and questions.
The Toronto Ghosts and Hauntings Research Society is always looking for stories, legends and true cases of the supernatural (pertaining to ghosts and hauntings), so please e-mail them to us at submissions@torontoghosts.org or click here.
You might notice that we rarely specify an exact address on some stories. This is for two reasons. Firstly, we hope that if you recognize the story from personal experiences, you will e-mail us and we can verify your stories with what we have already collected. Secondly, we want to ensure the privacy of the current tenants/owners of the site that has the haunting.
If you wish to speak to someone about a ghost or haunting and maintain privacy, we are happy to talk to you and hopefully help answer your questions. We take all reports seriously and wish only to provide answers to both you and ourselves.

COPYRIGHT INFORMATION FOR ALL THE FOLLOWING PAGES: All stories, reports, editorials and original photos on this site and the GHRS sites are the property of the Toronto Ghosts and Hauntings Research Society and must NOT be reproduced without the express written approval of the Toronto Ghosts and Hauntings Research Society's Director or Chief Administrator who will endeavour to receive the original author/reporter's authorization.
If you are submitting information, we will ask for your express approval via e-mail and if we do not receive an answer in 15 days, we will post the report or story WITHOUT names or exact addresses and they will become the sole property of the Toronto Ghosts and Hauntings Research Society.
If a re-publishing request comes in, the same applies, we will request your authorization but if it is not forthcoming within 15 days of the request, the authorization will be approved without the exact address or names given to the requester.
We are not responsible for the content of submissions and cannot be held responsible for any damages that have come through the use of the information on these pages. We will do our best to ensure accuracy and security.
