Please Note: This site is not related to nor working with The Manitouwadge Hotel.

We were recently sent the following by independent paranormal researcher Daniel Lam and given permission to share the following with our readers.

There's a place called the Manitouwadge Hotel which is reportedly haunted. The place is cleaned and put away every night. I've been taken reports from a few people who worked there and they've heard stories from former employees. Chairs and tables would be moved.... peanut shells all over floor (was informed the previous owner used to love eating peanuts). Pool table and equipment moved around. I've encounter this before being told these stories. I was playing pool one night with some friends. We were sitting on the edge of an empty pool table behind us. We were asked a few times not to sit on the pool table, but habits are hard to break. All of a sudden the whole light fixture fell on the pool table just missing us, someone mentioned the ghost must be mad at you for not listening to the bartender's order. A few times I stayed to keep a friend company during closing time. It was in the middle of July and it was roasting hot but for some reason it was cold at certain spots in the tavern. There was also a report that a dark shadow has been seen moving around late at night in the tavern after it has been closed.
Manitouwadge is located half way between Thunder Bay and Sault Ste Marie.
