"I lived in this semi-detached home from the age of 3 to 18 starting in the 60's. I often heard high heeled type footsteps above my main floor bedroom at night when everyone in the house was asleep. I remember bouncing a rubber ball against the garage in the back yard when it appeared to get scooped up before vanishing.
Most memorable was the time I was downstairs in the basement and saw a woman with her hair curled close into her head like my mothers walk into the back room. I said "Hi Mom" but there was no answer. I went upstairs and was surprised and confused to see my mother was upstairs in the kitchen.
A few days after my brother died, I saw him sitting at the end of my bed in the middle of the night. He was smiling to let me know that he was alright before he got up and walked out towards the front door. Seconds later my dad came downstairs and checked the front door, saying he thought he heard it closing."
