An old farmhouse near the Metro Zoo

A reader reported that his friends experienced a strange event near the Metro Zoo.

He reported that his friends were once lost near the zoo and were driving along a virtually deserted road and when they passed a specific farmhouse, their car seemed to stall or break down.

Interestingly enough, another reader reported a similar experience in the same area that he wished us to look into but could not remember the exact street.

Now, this may not have anything to do with a haunting but a third reader reported that he had an interesting experience near the Metro Zoo in an old farmer's field near Sheppard and Morningside. He reported that he was walking through the field one night to cut across to a local bus stop when he noticed he was not alone. There was a woman (he could not see too many details) making her way to a nearby side-road. The reader normally would not have noticed this but it was rather late and he was surprised to see the woman walking alone at that hour. He turned for a moment but when he glanced back, she had disappeared. From his description, there was no way she could have run or walked out of view and that she had simply vanished.

If anyone can shed some light on these experiences, please contact us at submissions@torontoghosts.org.
