St. Basil's College

The following was asked by one of our readers...

Have you received any reports about St. Basil's College and nearby house being haunted? St. Basil's College is located at Weston Rd. and Sheppard Ave. Adjacent to it is an old house currently being used by the Basilian Fathers who teach at the school. Having grown up in the area, I've heard many reports about the house and college both being haunted. The house, I believe, used to be owned by a family called the Crangs (Crang's Pond sits behind the house). Rumour has it that a female resident of the house went crazy and her soul can still be found roaming the grounds and building. I've also heard of the ghost of a priest that roams the halls of the college. Any truth to this?

Although, rightfully this should be in our "under investigation" area, I have heard rumours (unfortunately, nothing more) about the school.

Currently, for every one person that has sent us a "confirmation" of this site, two people have said the story is complete hogwash. One user in particular has sent in a "disclaimer" saying the story is fiction several times under assumed aliases and e-mail accounts.
