Private Residence, Hazelton Lane

How long can a vigil for brave soldiers overseas go on? Apparently, forever.

This home in Toronto's Yorkville has a spectre that is not seen when people are inside, but only when they are outside the building. An old woman wearing a long, flowing dress is seen looking down from the second floor window -- even though no one is home, and eerier still, no elderly people living in the house.

The story goes that the home belonged to two sisters, whose husbands went overseas during the war. Neither man returned and the sisters took turns keeping a vigil for their men.
