This now destroyed English manor that was home to the Stewart family in Haliburton was reported to have more than it's fair share of manifestations.
Mysterious rapping noise, apparitions, a piano that played without human intervention and "moaning" heard in the upstairs bedroom areas are just a few of the odd occurrences reported in the home before a fire destroyed it in the 1930's.
We are not sure where the exact location of this historic home was nor if anything has been built in it's stead and hopefully those answers will be coming soon and we will update this report.
Interestingly enough, we had one writer from Haliburton Village that has written to us saying that the former location of this "infamously" haunted home is still "active". Again, we should know more about this soon.
